Janky to Help Stud Ford Blow-Up

When Janky was at the 2017 Juke Joint Fest playing with Robert Kimbrough, Sr. at Cat Head, he ran into Stud Ford, the grandson of the great T-Model Ford. They were Facebook friends but immediately hit it off in person. Then Janky witnessed Stud Ford slaughter the crowd with his rendition of R.L. Burnside’s Snake Drive. Janky was blown away at the slamming grooves that oozed from his guitar playing.  Janky and Stud hung out at the North Mississippi Hill Country Picnic and Janky vowed to help Stud however he can. So Janky is adding another musician to his roster of amazing musicians and his ReverbUnit record label.

Stud Ford plays drums but has been focusing on guitar.

Junior Kimbrough’s Juke Joint on Google Earth

Few people know that you can scrub back in time on Google Earth revealing all kinds of fun historical stuff. Here is a Google Earth breakdown. Enjoy.
