I am honored to return to Blues Rules Crissier, Switzerland this year. I played lead for Robert. Kimbrough a few years back at this festival and it is TOP NOTCH! Super friendly people. This year is a special treat as it is a tribute to the great Jessie Mae Hemphill, one of my huge influences. In fact, the festival used my song “Play For Me Jessie Mae” in their promo video below. Even more, Peggie Sue Hemphill aka Lady Trucker is traveling abroad for the first time on this festival. She is cousins with Jessie Mae Hemphill and I played guitar on her debut CD. Again, I am honored.
