Every year, Dripping Springs, Texas, hosts a festival in honor of its founders. 2025 was even bigger than usual. Janky suited up and did the opening parade only as Janky would — full frontal good time blues. Janky partnered with Coe Wisdom and rocked the best-sounding float in the parade. Coe offered up his janky 1956 truck and 36-foot trailer. Once outfitted with gear and Chad Carroll on drums, Scott Sexton on upright bass, and San Antonio, harp slinger Justin Vasquez on harmonica, it rolled the whole route. In true Janky fashion, the truck broke down in front of the Barbershop, finally giving up life next to Hudson’s. Bartenders from the Barbershop walked the route and handed out candy. 2026 will be even bigger and better.
