I have recorded many blues artists for years. I have also been doing this for free. So, I am launching a 501c3 focusing on recording and promoting blues artists called the BluesFund.
My past recordings of these great artists has always been for free to the musician. These artists include EJ Mathews, Reverend KM Williams, The Kimbrough Brothers, Robert Kimbrough Sr, Lady Trucker, Trenton Ayers, and recently Little Joe Ayers. I take 0% of anything. That means royalties and streaming. I get nothing but the joy of helping these great musicians. Robert Kimbrough and I won AMD’s (Artist’s Musician’s Guild) Album of the Year award for one of these CDs.
